Coach Training EDU™ offers three levels of ICF-accredited coach training programs. Each program builds on the previous and provides the most advanced, multifaceted coach training for establishing and enhancing your coaching career. Along with our foundational 1.0 Essential course, we have a 1.0 Academic program as well as Wellness or Executive Life Coach training add-ons.
Associate Training
The Associate training program delivers cutting-edge skills, tools, and practice, along with the materials you need to successfully launch yourself into the professional coaching world. This program includes:
- The 1.0 Essential or 1.0 Academic training course, with the option for the Wellness or Executive specializations, all of which cover the ICF’s gold standard foundations for life coach training.
- Group Mentor Coaching which covers the 10 mentor coaching hours required by the ICF
- Build Your Life’s Work self-paced study, that walks you through the beginning steps to building your own coaching practice.
The 1.0 training is six months and meets once per week for two hours. The Group Mentor Coaching sessions are built into your 1.0 training course. Successful graduates qualify to earn the Associate Coach Certification (ACC) from the ICF.
Professional Training
The professional training program is ideal for coaches wanting to establish a full-time practice or get hired as an in-house coach. This program includes:
- 1.0 training program of choice
- The choice between:
- Advanced 2.0 training program, which offers more in-depth tools and research to boost your coaching skills and launch your professional career; OR The Health Board course (when paired with the Wellness specialization) which is an 8-week training course specializing in NBHWC standards for Health and Wellness coaching.
- Coaches can choose to study a second specialization or join the live business-building course
Some qualified coaches with previous training may acquire a Professional Coach Certification (PCC) by completing the professional training program.
Master Training
The master training program is ideal for coaches who want to take their training to the highest level. This program includes:
- 1.0 training program of choice
- Advanced 2.0 training program
- An additional 1.0 course and/or any combination of the below elective courses:
- Biz Launcher
- Relationship Life Coach Training
- Team Coach Training
- Inclusion Coach Training
- ALC Sport Coach Training
- Health & Wellness Life Coach Training

Academic Coach Training
Academic Coach training benefits staff, faculty, administrators, and guidance counselors looking to enhance educational experiences. It blends coaching and academic skills to improve students’ academic performance, stress management, resilience, and interpersonal skills as part of a broader educational initiative. Academic Life Coaching combines the coaching program with skills and tools specifically designed to work with students and optimizes teaching techniques proven to help students thrive academically.
Executive Coach Training
Executive Coach training benefits those interested in coaching professionals, teams, and entrepreneurs. It primarily focuses on corporate and entrepreneurial coaching, emphasizing action and accountability. Ideal for those committed to establishing a coaching practice with a diverse professional clientele, Executive Coach training is available as a self-paced course that can be added to the 1.0 Essential program.
Wellness Coach Training
Wellness Coach training is ideal for individuals interested in enhancing others’ health and well-being. This program merges accredited coach training with industry-specific resources and puts you on the direct path to participate in and complete the Health Board program and become Health Board certified. Students will acquire insights on exercise, nutrition, sleep, and stress management’s role in overall wellness. The Wellness Coach training is available as a self-paced course that can be added to the 1.0 Essential program.
Health Board Coach Training
Health Board Coach training is designed for those aspiring to make a meaningful impact on public health and community well-being. This comprehensive program integrates accredited coach training with materials tailored to the healthcare sector and the NBHWC. Students will gain a deep understanding of healthcare concepts and strategies to improve the well-being of clients, whether private or as part of a medical community. Health Board Coach training is available as part of the Professional package, equipping individuals to effect positive change in health at community and organizational levels.
Program Format
Class will meet once a week for two hours, at your designated class time. Each class is broken into three main parts. The first part of the class is an open discussion about the material you reviewed in preparation for your class, and your coach will answer any questions you have about the material. The second part of the class includes a live coaching demo, where your coach trainer will demonstrate how to use the skill or tool you reviewed for class. The final third of the class is dedicated to in-class practice with your fellow coaches and concludes with reflection.
