I remember speaking at my first book launch, and now I had the honor of speaking at the same conference as Sir Ken Robinson, one of my education heroes. While it’s rare, there may come a time in a coaching session where a referral to counseling needs to be made. This doesn’t necessarily mean that the coach needs to discontinue the coaching program, though there may be extreme cases where that may be the best course of action.
