Find the Fun in the Work

Find the Fun in the Work

The Powerful Paragraph

As a huge sports fan, one of the best feelings isn’t necessarily watching my team win. It’s watching them have fun while they do it. Why? Because not only can you see the joy that the game brings them, but you start to notice a few other things as well. They start to get more creative with play calls. They are more eager to congratulate one another and quickly show support to other members of their team. In seemingly slow motion, you can see the team begin to pull together and operate as one coherent unit. They enter flow. Their focus both narrows and broadens, as if they are hyper focused but able to see all of their options at the same time. And often, it’s the “having fun” part that helps lead them to the win, because working hard PLUS having fun is the key to the most success.
