HOW DOES ONLINE COACH TRAINING WORK?
Coach Training EDU’s online training format is designed to provide you with a one-of-a-kind learning experience that combines individual study with weekly class meetings and practice.
INDIVIDUAL STUDY AND CLASS PREPARATION
Our online training programs function as a flipped classroom style, where you will listen to pre-recorded lectures and read from your corresponding training guide before class each week. By reading about and listening to course content ahead of time, there is more time during your weekly class meeting for discussion and practice.
You will also receive a hard copy of the corresponding training guide for your training program, as well as access to an online class page with all other training materials (ie. recorded lectures, business-building materials, pdfs of all books, etc).
All of Coach Training EDU’s training programs are conducted live, at preset times, with a trained and certified ICF coach and trainer. You will meet once a week, via webinar (we use a video platform called Zoom), at a designated class time. Class times are dedicated to providing you with a thorough understanding of the life coaching concepts for that week and to giving you time to practice the skills with other class participants.
You can join your live, online coach training course from a computer, tablet or mobile phone. The Zoom platform is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Android operating systems, and after you install the plugin, you are able to join a webinar with just one click of the link. You will need a solid internet connection, but for ease and convenience, or if the internet is not cooperating, you also have the option to call into the webinar using your phone (which is great for those times when you are on the road).
Flying across the country without an Internet connection and need to miss a session? No problem. We record each online life coaching session so if you need to miss a session or two, you can catch up watching the video later online.
Before the course is over, you will be required to complete 4 coach-client overviews, at weeks 6, 12, 18, and 24. These overviews are conducted over the phone, with the lead trainer from your training program.
You will also complete a final exam, covering basic coaching concepts and tools.
Once you complete your training program and the requirements listed above, you will receive certification as either an Associate Certified Coach (for completion of any 1.0 level program) or a Certified Coach (for completion of any 2.0 level program).
Certification is included in your training program tuition, and you are not required to complete additional training in the future to maintain your certification from Coach Training EDU.
All of Coach Training EDU’s training programs are also accredited by the International Coach Federation, and once you complete your training program, you will be on the path towards ICF certification as well.
