Balancing Values

Balancing Values

Powerful Paragraph

Honoring our personal core values is a key aspect of mental health and wellbeing. However, there will be times that our values conflict. For example, our value of self-care may conflict with our value of serving our clients. What’s important is to not drop one value for the sake of the other, but to find a way to strike a balance between the two. Using our example, you may consider taking one day a week for a longer self-care routine, and focus on clients the rest of the week.

The Powerful Question to Ponder

How are you balancing competing values?
