Janice Son

Janice Son is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), leadership development trainer, and organizational development practitioner who supports people and teams through seasons of change, growth, and transition. She is the founder of Connecting Heart Matters, a coaching and development practice focused on meaningful, sustainable growth in both career and life.

With a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University and a background in business communication from University of Southern California, Janice brings a grounded understanding of how people think, relate, and move through complexity—both individually and within teams.

As a trainer with Coach Training EDU (CTEDU), she facilitates experiential learning that helps coaches develop not just strong skills, but the awareness and presence to stay with what’s real in a conversation. She has a natural ability to notice what sits beneath the surface—patterns, assumptions, and unspoken dynamics—and help people work through them in a way that leads to clarity and forward movement.

Her work spans corporate, nonprofit, and educational settings, where she designs leadership development experiences that strengthen communication, alignment, and performance.

Janice is known for creating spaces that feel both thoughtful and real—where people can slow down, see more clearly, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and intention.

You can email Janice here or schedule a meeting with her here.
