How the Training Works

Real-time learning with real feedback — built for people who are already coaching and want to do it well.

Small, live cohorts

Learn in real time in cohorts of up to 12 — live discussion and practice with your peers and instructor, not a self-paced video library.

Mentor coaching included

12 hours of mentor coaching are built in — 9 group and 3 individual, beyond the ICF’s required 10 — so you get real feedback on your own coaching.

85 live training hours

CTEDU includes 85 live training hours against the ICF’s 60-hour minimum, so you graduate ready to coach — not just ready to pass an exam.

Structured, fully online

About six months on a clear weekly rhythm designed around a working professional’s schedule. New cohorts open every month.

ICF-Accredited Training, Priced in the Open

ICF-accredited programs typically run $4,000–$12,000 for the Associate level. We publish our pricing up front so you can plan with confidence. CTEDU sits in the mid-range.

ICF Associate (ACC)

Your Path to ICF Certification

The ICF process is designed to challenge and elevate your coaching skills, allowing you to progress at your own pace.

1
ACC

Associate Certified Coach

60+ education hours · 100+ coaching hours

The entry-level ICF credential. Complete CTEDU 1.0 Life Coach Training, log 100+ coaching hours, and pass the credentialing exam. Most graduates reach this within 12–18 months.

2
PCC

Professional Certified Coach

125+ education hours · 500+ coaching hours

The mid-level credential for experienced coaches. Complete CTEDU 2.0 Advanced Training, log 500+ coaching hours, and demonstrate PCC-level competency.

3
MCC

Master Certified Coach

200+ education hours · 2,500+ coaching hours

The highest ICF credential. Requires extensive coaching experience, advanced training, and demonstrated mastery of coaching competencies.

You Don’t Need Clients to Start

The ICF is generous about what counts — coaching at your job, peer practice, and barter coaching all qualify, so you build toward your 100 hours starting on day one.

Business foundations, included

No add-on fees. The core program covers finding your niche and ideal client, pricing and packaging your services, marketing, and client acquisition.

Live business sessions

Ongoing live sessions on the business of coaching — sales, marketing, branding, and niche — so building a practice is part of the training, not an afterthought.

A clear path to paying clients

Start with practice and pro bono hours, then build toward paying clients as your skills and confidence grow.
