Sue Holland

Sue is a Human Resource strategist with over 25 years of experience leading initiatives for various sized organizations that have led to improvement of employee turnover rates, employee performance, voice of the customer scores, injury rates, time to hire, time to productivity, and bench strength just to name a few. Her work with individual high potentials has consistently led to stretch assignments, promotions, and career transitions into roles better aligned to strengths and/or values. As a graduate from the University of South Florida with a B.A. in Marketing and a minor in Management; Sue’s early career was in sales and marketing which led to an Account Rep position for a temporary and permanent placement service. It was in this position that she discovered she had a knack for tapping into strengths of others and successfully matching them to employers and thus leading to her HR career. Since then, Sue has held various positions from very tactical HR Generalist up to VP of Organizational Development overseeing company transformation. She received her Professional Human Resource Certification (PHR) through HRCI in June of 2003 then elevated to Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) in June 2006 and received her Senior Certified Professional designation by SHRM (SHRM-SCP) in 2015. She is currently working toward her Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through ICF and is on target to have that complete by the end of 2023. Sue’s true passion is to help individuals and teams take something that is good to something that is great and that starts with people believing they can. As a HR Strategist her role is to learn the business, understand the obstacles and recommend practical solutions that impact the effectiveness of the people within the organization. Sue has spent years listening to frustrated individual contributors from various industries, from blue collar to white collar and they all have a central message, “I’m not heard and I’m not valued”.
