About Me
With over 25 years as a global HR leader for large, successful organizations, Melissa Carson has learned what works and what doesn’t. Now she’s focused on using those learnings and industry best practices to partner with fast-growing small to mid-size organizations. Melissa’s passion is working with them to evaluate their strategic talent needs, harness the full potential of their employees using powerful people strategies, and define solutions that address their business agenda and organizational goals. She partners with individual leaders by helping them understand what she calls their “imperfection gremlins” so they can get above the day-to-day of their lives, see the full view, set a strategic direction for themselves and their teams, and be more intentional in their approaches. Melissa is the author of two books: A Perfect Life is Not the Goal: A Practical Guide to Loving the Life You are Living; and There is No Such Thing as a Perfect Job: a Practical Guide Loving Your Work Life.
