Health Coach Certification Online Training
Refined by over a Decade of Experience

Since 2009 CTEDU has trained thousands of coaches and helped them earn certified life and health coach credentials from New York to Dubai in over fifty countries.

Opportunities after Becoming a
Health Board Certified Coach

After successfully completing the training, you are eligible to take the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching Exam. Once you pass the exam, opportunities open up to you.

More Options for Your Clients

Your certification from an NBHWC-accredited program means that some Corporate Wellness Programs and select insurance carriers may reimburse your clients for your services.

Establish a Health Coaching Business

Once you’re certified, you’re prepared to kick off your personal health and wellness coach training practice, join a corporate environment, establish contracts with wellness providers, or join a local wellness practice.

Participate in a $16 Billion Industry

Health coaching is a $16 billion global industry in 2024, with projections to grow to $29 billion by 2032. Coaches worried about market saturation can put that concern to rest with their NBHWC credential.

Become Dual Accredited as a Life and Health Coach

Earning dual certifications as a life and health coach offers significant value to coaches, especially when these certifications are accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC).

CTEDU’s dual accreditation in health and life coaching makes it one of the few programs recognized as an accredited training provider by both the ICF and NBHWC.

The comprehensive standards and quality of the program mean coaches who obtain these certifications are highly esteemed in the field, demonstrating their commitment to excellence and their ability to meet rigorous professional benchmarks. This recognition enhances credibility and broadens opportunities for career advancement and client trust.

History of the National Board for
Health & Wellness Coaching

2010

A group of health and wellness coaches, medical doctors, and industry thought leaders envisioned a more robust certification process to bolster wellness coaching credibility in the medical sector.

2012

The National Consortium for Credentialing of Health and Wellness Coaches (NCCHWC) worked to discover what it would mean to define what a certified health and wellness coach would look like.

2016

The NCCHWC partnered with the National Board for Medical Examiners (NBME) to develop a board certification examination to make this vision a reality.

Now

NBHWC continues to lead the way in expanding the definition of wellness and those who can be identified as medical professionals, creating opportunities for insurance to reimburse for health coaching coverage and continue to grow the impact of preventative care.
