The partnership between the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches and the National Board of Medical Examiners is a big deal for health and wellness coaching. In 2016, these two groups came together to develop a way to credential health and wellness coaches.

With all the challenges life throws at us, forward momentum can be difficult to find and even tougher to maintain. Defining, capturing, and keeping happiness has been a preoccupation of human thought for as long as we’ve been alive. And yet, it can seem fleeting. We identify something that will bring us happiness, and once it’s in our grasp, we seek out the next best thing, hoping it, too, will bring us happiness.
Decision-making is a fundamental part of being human. From the minute we wake up to finally shutting our eyes to sleep, the human day is one long chain of decisions, one right after the other. And these decisions have gotten progressively more complicated as time has passed.
