Albert Einstein once said, “If I had an hour to solve a problem, I’d spend 55 minutes thinking about the problem and 5 minutes thinking about solutions.” While this may seem a little far-fetched, science backs Einstein’s notion of properly defined problems. And defining a problem isn’t always as easy as it seems, especially when it may mean digging into uncomfortable territory. Still, a problem will likely go unresolved until the root of that problem is identified and assessed.
What challenge could benefit from a more strongly defined problem?
