Wellness Self Study

Wellness Coach Training: Self-Study

Designed for wellness practitioners and health coaches, the Wellness Coach Training self-paced add-on combines core life coaching skills with an in-depth exploration of health and wellness topics. Topics range from resilience and flow to best practices for healthy sleep and regular exercise. 

As a self-study program, this serves as a complement to the 1.0 Essential Life Coaching Course. It equips you with essential life coaching skills while providing the wellness knowledge to guide your clients effectively on their wellness journey.

Although designed for self-paced learning, CTEDU suggests beginning the Wellness Self Study after completing Week 8 of the 1.0 Essential Course. By completing both the 1.0 Essential course and the Wellness Self Study, students are en route to earning their Health Board credentials.

Course Format and Requirements

Self-paced course 

While this course is self-paced, each session consists of three parts: Health & Wellness information, a case study, and a knowledge check. It’s important to read through the content before attempting the case study and knowledge check. 

Your case study assessment and knowledge check answers are required for course completion.  

Case Study Videos 

Each session of the Wellness Self Study has an accompanied case study video in addition to the written case studies.

Wellness Workshop Videos 

This video series is from our coach-led Wellness-based workshops. 

Throughout the Wellness Self Study, you will be asked to complete brief knowledge checks at the end of each session. These knowledge checks will count toward your Wellness Self-Study attendance. Because the Wellness Self Study is self-paced, all sessions must be completed for wellness certification.
