The Best in the World

I was recently reminded of a conversation I had with an old mentor, Greg Bell, sitting in a coffee shop in Portland, Oregon over a decade ago. I was young and energetic and had a growing academic life coaching practice of thirty-some clients. His message: find the thing you can be your best at and put in the work to water it every day. Without looking up, water each day, and one day maybe even years from now, you’ll see a whole forest before you.
