We love sharing our graduates and lifting them up throughout their coaching journey. Recently on the CTEDU Facebook Page, we had a few graduates share how coaching changed and impacted their lives for the better. Below is a quote from Mark Albert Morton, a CTEDU Graduate and fellow coach. His journey is inspiring, and we hope it encourages you to continue to pursue your passion, and #DoYourLifesWork.
“In August of last year, I started my journey with Coach Training EDU. As I started the Health and Wellness course my life was in disarray from caring for my mom in another state and working in a totally different state. Each week as we learned tools and practiced coaching, I began to personally transform from the coaching sessions.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The week we were covering nutrition, John had to fill in for our trainer. I was the model for the session and he personally coached me that night. I’ll never forget how we discussed my addiction to Snickers Ice-cream bars and how I was using it to deal with the stress of maneuvering 3 different states.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To make a long story short, you can see from the picture the transformation. Since that day…⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. I have not had a snickers bar⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Lost a total of 40 lbs as of today⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Ran and Successfully completed my 1st 5k⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. Etc, etc, etc⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The work we do is so important to changing lives.” – Mark Albert Morton⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
