Coach Training EDU Certification

Coach Training EDU offers its own proprietary certification upon the completion of any of our 1.0, 2.0 or full Accredited Coach Training Programs (ACTPs). You qualify for your Associate Certified Coach credential upon the completion of any 1.0 level training program, and you can receive your credential as a Certified Coach with the 2.0 Coach Training Program.

Coach Training EDU Certification

Coach Training EDU offers two different levels of certification.

The first is an Associate Certified Coach. You qualify for this credential by successfully completing a 1.0 level coach training program. The following are the available credentials:

  • Associate Certified Academic Life Coach
  • Associate Certified Wellness Coach
  • Associate Certified Executive Coach

The second is a Certified Coach. You qualify for this credential by successfully completing any 1.0 level program and the 2.0 Coach Training Program. The following are the available credentials:

  • Certified Academic Life Coach
  • Certified Wellness Coach
  • Certified Executive Coach

These levels of certification follow the ICF’s structure for certification and reflect the difference between an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC). For more details on the requirements for certification, click here.

Become an Associate Certified Coach

  1. click here Successfully complete any of Coach Training EDU’s 1.0 level training programs. Each of the 1.0 level training programs meet for 24 training sessions, over the course of 6 months. You will meet once a week, at a designated class time, for two hours. To become a certified coach, you must attend 20 of these 24 training sessions.

Become a Certified Coach

In order to join the 2.0 Coach Training Program and qualify for certification as a Certified Coach, you must have prior life coach training. It is recommended that you complete one of Coach Training EDU’s 1.0 level training programs, but if you already have prior coach training, you may jump into the 2.0 level course.
  2. Successfully Complete the 2.0 Coach Training Program. The training program meets for 24 training sessions over the course of 6 months. You will meet once a week, at a designated class time, for two hours. To become a certified coach, you must attend 20 of these 24 training sessions.
  3. Log 10 hours of coaching. You are required to log at least 10 hours of coaching with a paid or unpaid client throughout your training program.
  4. Complete 4 Coach-Client Overviews. You will be required to complete a total of 4 coach-client overviews (mentor coaching hours) throughout your training as well. These are due at weeks 6, 12, 18, and 24 of your training.
  5. Complete a Final Exam. The final piece of certification is an exam with 25 questions and two 250 to 500 word essays. The exam takes at most an hour with most participants finishing within 45 minutes.
