A few days ago, my husband and I were stopped at a traffic light not far from our home. I pointed out the window at an arrangement of brightly colored flowers in front of a sign for a local corporate center. Across the street from this sign was another, much fancier, sign for a separate corporate center, which did not have any brightly colored flowers. We made jokes about the fancy corporate center overspending on the sign, therefore it was not in the budget to dress it up with any attractive foliage. We took notice of a few other details of the signs, things that made them similar and different before the light turned green and we moved on with our day. It amazed me how such a simple observation could turn into such a joy-filled, fun-loving two-minute experience with someone I loved.
How are you taking advantage of little moments for joy and love?
