I was recently asked to do a large editing project for a client. Looking at the document, my anxiety began to bubble as I looked at the word count and compared it with the deadline I promised. Looking at the project as a whole, it felt overwhelming and unachievable. Then, I took a deep breath and broke the document down into sections, tackling each one at a time. These steps were much more digestible, and my brain thanked me for taking something large and looming and making it into something bite-sized and manageable.
How can you create bite-sized steps this week?
