Community matters. They’re the people who support you, guide you and influence you to do great things.
Let’s take the opportunity to show some gratitude to those in your community. Who has made a difference in your life? Let us know in the comments.
Here are a few people our coaches are grateful for.
Nick Sanchez, CTEDU Certified Executive Coach
“Miss Jones. She just took the time to tell me I was special. And that goes such a long way for a person to see something special about youth and share that with them.”
Gabrielle Matthews, CTEDU Certified Executive Coach
“My fathers are large influences on me. I have a stepfather and a biological father. My biological father, I grew up listening to self-development tapes and he still does listen to those things. And he tells me like the wise man once told me. He’s always giving me these good life lessons. And I’ve always been around ways to develop into a better person. And I would say my stepfather is the same way, he’s a very spiritual man of god. He’s always given me wisdom, really really good wisdom. And really good guidance.”
Will Brydon, Certified Academic Coach
“My 5th grade teacher, Mr. Gergoni. He just instilled in me this desire to become a teacher with his compassion, energy and positivity that he brought to the classroom and I think he was one of my first teachers that really showed me that teachers can have this fantastic impact on young people’s lives.”
Aiola Gill, CTEDU Certified Academic Coach
“My biggest influence in life I would say has been my family and my husband. My family because they’ve showed a lot of grit and a lot of resilience coming to a new country. Sacrificing a lot, leaving a lot behind them for their kids, for myself included and that resiliency has opened up my eyes, and you know, seeing that anything is possible. You just have to stick together and kind of, you know, go through the process. And my husband has been an inspiration in my life because he’s very unique in many ways.”
