Design Your Relationship With Pain

Quote about pain

Our relationship with pain is vital for our ability persevere and be successful. We can learn a lot from the ways in which current and former athletes deal with pain. There techniques are different, but both are useful and allow them to continue being successful.

While professional athletes are trained and conditioned to push through their pain, former professional athletes must embrace their pain, and they use it as a signal that something is not right or needs to be addressed.

Both of these relationships with pain are useful, and they can be translated into the professional world (say, for someone building a life coaching business) as well. To learn more, visit the Academic Life Coaching website and read the full article on the blog here.
